Homemade Sausage Patties

Microwave Egg White French Toast

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup onion (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes (crushed)
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1tsp fresh thyme (chopped)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 lbs/0.9 kg Ground lean pork/beef

Directions:

  1. Over moderately low heat, cook onion in olive oil for 8 to 10 minutes or until it softens and turns brown or golden
  2. Combine sage, pepper, cloves, sugar, and thyme in a small bowl
  3. In a separate bowl, combine egg yolk, meat, and onion followed by mixed spices
  4. Mix thoroughly
  5. Make patties and fry them in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side
