DUTCH OVEN SEAFOOD POT

PREP TIME: 6 MINUTES|COOK TIME: 40 MINUTES| SERVINGS: 3-4

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 quarts of water
  • 24 ounces of beer
  • ½ cup of Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 and ½ tablespoons of salt
  • 2 Halved lemons
  • 2 Halved heads of garlic
  • 1 white halved onion
  • 1 pound of red potatoes
  • 2 Quartered ears of corn
  • 1 pound of Andouille sausage, cut into pieces of 2 inches each
  • 1 pound of whole blue grab
  • 1 pound of mussels
  • 1 pound of shrimp

FOR THE SMASHED POTATOES

  • 1 pound of red potatoes from the Seafood Boil
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 Minced garlic cloves
  • 1 Pinch of salt
  • 1 Pinch of pepper
  • Chopped chives and Parmesan for garnishing

DIRECTIONS

  1. Boil the water with the beer, the old bay, the salt, the lemons, the garlic, and the onions into a 6-quart Dutch oven then add in the potatoes and the corn
  2. Preheat your Dutch oven pan over medium-high heat for about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Cook the sausage for about 3 to 5 minutes per side
  4. Add the sausage to the Dutch oven and cook for about 20 minutes
  5. Add the crab, the shrimp, and the mussels and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes
  6. Serve and enjoy your dish!
